The Island Village Project is a scale model of a large-scale, abstract sculpture installation that emulates how land in Orlando, Florida, has been partitioned and manipulated during new construction. The containers are built to slide like a jigsaw, creating a new platform each time. Through this movement, the model visually explores the complex issues of natural displacement and urban development, highlighting the tension between spectacle, the growing demand for real estate, and the resulting destruction of nature.
